Tags are keywords or phrases you create to help organize your pieces of information. Tagging in StarAgent lets you bring your own approach to label talents, clients, and projects as per the details you know about them. All your tags are customisable, so you can create and assign them as you see fit.
In this guide, you will learn the basics of tags and how you can create, assign and use them to organize your entities in StarAgent.
Before We Start..
Here are a few things you should note before you begin.
- The concept of 'tags' are built for your own convenience in organizing entities.
- Tag features are only allowed in the 'Talents', 'Clients' and 'Projects' cards.
- You can add as many tags as you want for each item.
About Tags
Have you ever worked with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool? If yes, you might have used a ‘Tagging’ feature to classify people or content. In StarAgent, tags serve the same purpose. They are a smart way for you to label entities (talents, clients, and projects) on StarAgent based on the information you know about them, and do quick searches.
How To Use Tags
Tags are entirely customisable, so you can add them to entities whenever you want to.
- You can create tags through 'Settings' >> 'Tags', and add them to tag in your entities directly by entering on the cards. This is a lightweight way to help agency members recognise some key points about the entities.
- You can use the 'Search By Tags' field to filter out talent profiles with specific tags.
Create & Manage Tags

- Under ‘Manage Tags’, type the name of your tag, and click 'Add'.
All set! Now, you can scroll to the bottom of the page to see your new tag listed under the Tags Table. You can assign the created tag to talents, clients, or projects on their respective pages.
