As the name suggests custom forms are customised forms that can be used in addition to the regular talent registration form. Here you can create a tab to be included in the 'Edit Talent Details' page in the 'Talents' menu and set personalised questions that you would love to be incorporated while storing talent details to your StarAgent account. Note that 'Tab' here represents a specific category based on which the talent details are divided systematically.

Managing Tabs for Talent Management


'Managing Tabs for Talent Management' is the panel where you will be able to 'Activate' and 'Deactivate' the tabs present in the 'Edit Talent Details' page of an individual talent card. To manage your talent details tab, follow these steps:


  • Go to Settings >> Custom Form.



  • Under the 'Manage Tabs for Talent Management' panel, you will be provided with an array of different tabs such as Personal, Contact, Experiences, Features and so on. Click on the required tab that you want to manage.



  • Click on the 'Active' or 'Inactive' button to either activate or deactivate that specific tab/category from the talent details page. 



✍ NB: Upon clicking on each tab, a preview of the details included in that tab will be displayed for reference purposes.




How To Add Custom Field (for Talent Details Tab)


Creating custom fields involves creating fields that will be displayed in a particular tab of your custom form. To create a custom field, follow the steps below:


  • Go to Settings >> Custom Form.



  • Scroll towards the 'Add Custom Field' panel.



  • Select the tab from the drop-down menu list. This represents the tab under which the custom field will be displayed. 



  • Choose the 'Control Type' from the drop-down menu. The control type refers to how you want your talents to provide the answers to the questions/fields of the custom form. Therefore choose it according to the nature of your question. You can also preview the control type selected alongside. 



  • Enter the desired label text. Label text is the custom field question you need to ask during talent registration. You can simply type in the inquiry into the text box provided under 'Label'.



  • Choose whether you need validation for the custom field or not by choosing ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ from the below-provided options. Validation is the must provide field answers you require before moving forward with the talent registration process. 



  • If selected ‘Yes’, type in the validation text in the space provided. The validation text acts as an explanation or a warning message that pops up if the talent fails to enter the information.



  • Hit 'Add' to successfully add the field to your custom form. 



✍ NB: You can create only one field at a time. Therefore to create multiple fields, go through steps as many times as you need. 




How To Manage Custom Form Tab


Managing custom form tabs include creating tabs that you want to enlist in your custom form. To create one, follow the steps below:


  • Go to Settings >> Custom Form.



  • Head over to the 'Add Custom Field' panel.



  • Click on the ‘Manage Custom Form Tabs’ present beside the 'Tab' field. This will navigate you to the 'Manage Custom Form Tabs' page.



  • Enter the tab name you want to provide in your custom form. You can add as many tabs as you want. 



  • Hit 'Add' to complete the process. 



  • To edit and delete the created tabs, head over to the 'Custom Form Tabs' panel of the same page and click on the 'Edit' or 'Delete' buttons.





Managing Custom Form Fields (for Talent Details Tab)


In the 'Manage Custom Form Fields' panel, you can edit the fields you created for various tabs in the custom form. Here you are allowed to update, delete or add in the information for the custom fields you created. 


How To Add Options For Your Custom Field


  • Go to Settings >> Custom Form.



  • Scroll over to the ‘Manage Custom Form Fields’ panel. Click on the tab of which you want to manage the custom fields. 



  • Hover your mouse on the field you want to make the changes. This activates the concerned editing buttons. 



  • Click on the 'Item' icon to get navigated to a page where you can add options for your custom field. 



  • Type in the Option Text in the space provided and click 'Add' to successfully enlist the options below your custom field. 



  • You can edit or delete the items by clicking on the 'Edit' or 'Delete' buttons provided beside every single item. 



How To Edit Your Custom Field


  • Go to Settings >> Custom Form.



  • Scroll over to the ‘Manage Custom Form Fields’ panel. Click on the tab of which you want to manage the custom fields. 



  • Hover your mouse on the field you want to make the changes. This activates the concerned editing buttons. 



  • Click on the 'Edit' icon to redirect back to the 'Add Custom Field' panel above.



  • Here you can make the required changes and edit the already recorded information. 



  • Hit 'Update' to complete the process.



How To Delete Your Custom Field


  • Go to Settings >> Custom Form.



  • Click on the tab of which you want to manage the custom fields. 



  • Hover your mouse on the field you want to make the changes. This activates the concerned editing buttons. 



  • Click on the 'Delete' icon to delete that specific field from the tab.
