To meet the data privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we’ve outlined some key restrictions for managing and deleting an agency member’s profile information. These include:

  • The owner/administrator of an agency or workspace controls all the data submitted by agency members, along with member profile information.
  • When members leave an agency or workspace, they should request the permission of the owner/administrator to delete their profile information.
  • As the data controller, the owner/administrator is responsible for determining whether profile information requires deletion.

NB:  Deletion is permanent - if your profile information has been deleted once, it can’t be recovered at any cost. So, if you wish to remove your data from StarAgent temporarily, it is better to deactivate your profile by setting your Status to ‘Inactive’ instead of deleting.

What Is Member Profile Information?

When we refer to the profile information of any agency member, here’s what is included:

  • Title
  • Name
  • Email ID
  • Phone number
  • Designation
  • Profile picture
  • Username
  • Password

However, the below-mentioned content is not considered as profile information and must not be deleted when a member removes his personal information from StarAgent:

  • Any talent profiles/packages/projects the member created.
  • Any previous mentions directed at the member, or content from the messages sent by him via channels or direct messages.

NB: A deactivated member’s profile will continue to appear on StarAgent as an ‘ Inactiveuser until the status is turned back to ' Active'.

Delete Your Profile Information

  • Once you get permission from your agency owner, go to Settings >> Agency Members.

  • This will take you to the Agency Members page, where all the existing users are listed.

  • Navigate to your profile and click on the 'Delete' option on the profile.

NB: We don’t suggest deleting profiles for temporary purposes; instead, consider deactivating the member profile, so that you can reactivate it whenever needed.
