More Security Tips To Protect Your Workspace
- Limit who has access: StarAgent allows for transparency to users, and occasionally that involves sharing sensitive details. That’s why we provide workspace owners/admins full control over all the agency members. You can use the access control option in StarAgent to efficiently manage who has access to what.
- Deactivate members’ accounts if they no longer require access: Changes are constant, and people will come and go. When someone from your agency leaves, remember to deactivate his account at the earliest.
- Use strong passwords for StarAgent accounts: Guide your team members to include uppercase and lowercase letters, special characters and numbers in their passwords. Also, ask them to avoid using alphanumeric combinations or easily guessable words.
- Don't store your credentials with your devices: A post-it note stuck on/outside of your desktop or tablet is like leaving your keys in your car! This will make it easy for someone to steal your credentials and access your accounts.
- Share passwords carefully: Don't give out passwords without concern; instead, identify when another person legitimately needs access to your account and provide access on a case-by-case basis. Also, remember to change your password when their tasks are finished.
- Remove the old data: Keeping your workspace clean is a good practice to ensure better usability; so, it's wise to eliminate all the old information, which your team no longer needs on StarAgent.
